Al Jazeera Sudanese Jordanian Bank’s General Manager, Dr. Amer Al-Alawi, accompanied by the Executive Director of Retail Banking, Dr. Ahmed Al-Masarwa, visited the Bank’s Kassala Branch as part of its commitment to supporting economic development and strengthening its services across the state.
The visit focused on reviewing the quality of banking services provided to customers and assessing the branch’s requirements, reaffirming the Bank’s commitment to delivering a high-quality and integrated banking experience.
During the visit, the Bank’s delegation participated in a dialogue session organised by the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Kassala State, attended by representatives of the state government, the Investment Commission, and the business community.
Dr. Al-Alawi highlighted the Bank’s commitment to supporting the state’s economic development and its ambition to expand beyond traditional banking and financing to become an active investor and strategic partner in sustainable development.
The delegation also visited several factories and industrial facilities to explore potential investment opportunities. Dr. Al-Alawi praised the development of Kassala’s industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors, noting the strong potential for further investment and economic cooperation.
The Bank intends to pursue direct participation in projects and strategic investment partnerships within Kassala State, while also promoting investment opportunities in the state to Jordanian investors.
Dr. Al-Alawi concluded by expressing his appreciation to the Government of Kassala State, the Governor, the Chamber of Industry, and the people of Kassala for their warm welcome and hospitality.
He noted that the visit represents an important step towards further engagement and future investment partnerships aimed at supporting sustainable economic growth in Kassala State.
