Morouj Commodities has participated in the launch of a tree-planting initiative aimed at improving the environment across the Bahri Industrial Area.
The initiative was launched by the Sudanese Women’s Union on 1 August 2026, under the patronage of the Executive Director of Bahri Locality and in the presence of representatives from the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Federal Ministry of Agriculture.

Morouj was selected as the starting point for the initiative, recognising the company’s longstanding involvement in environmental and community initiatives. The tree-planting programme was officially launched from outside the company’s premises, receiving appreciation from participating partners and stakeholders.

Morouj expressed its hope that the initiative will be expanded throughout the industrial area, contributing to a greener and more sustainable environment.
The initiative forms part of broader efforts to improve environmental conditions and promote a greener Sudan.
