Bede Sudan has marked the first anniversary of the launch of its operations in Sudan, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the continued development of the country’s electronic payments ecosystem in cooperation with the Payment Systems Department at the Central Bank of Sudan.
As part of the anniversary, Bede representatives met with the Director General of Payment Systems, alongside department directors and members of various working teams. The meeting reviewed key achievements over the past year and discussed future strategic plans aimed at improving the efficiency and development of the payments sector.

The discussions also highlighted opportunities to advance digital transformation and expand financial inclusion across Sudan through closer cooperation between industry stakeholders and the country’s payment infrastructure institutions.
Bede Sudan said it remains committed to strengthening the electronic payments landscape, emphasising that collaboration and coordinated efforts will be essential to building a more advanced, accessible and inclusive financial system.
