MTN Sudan has announced the signing of an agreement with the Ministry of Minerals to develop a comprehensive electronic platform for the ministry, following the company’s successful bid for the project’s technical tender.
The initiative aims to provide the mining sector with an advanced digital interface that enables access to the country’s mineral portfolio, geological studies, and exploration regulations, offering accurate and transparent information for stakeholders and investors in the sector.
The new platform is expected to deliver significant added value by presenting technical and regulatory data in line with international technological standards. It will feature interactive mining maps and artificial intelligence technologies designed to facilitate access to information and improve the efficiency of digital engagement with Sudan’s mineral resources sector.
Commenting on the project, Eng. Sami Obeid, Acting General Manager of Business Solutions at MTN Sudan, stated:
“This achievement reflects the confidence in MTN’s technical capabilities to deliver digital transformation projects. We are committed to building a platform that organizes and presents technical and investment information with clarity. Our Business Solutions division remains dedicated to providing advanced digital solutions that support national institutions and place technological capabilities at the service of various sectors with the highest standards of quality.”
