SEDCO (Sanctuary Estate Development Company), one of Haggar Group’s companies, has successfully transitioned its Juba compound in South Sudan to clean energy with the installation of a 500 KWp solar photovoltaic system, supported by high-efficiency panels and advanced liquid-cooled battery storage. The system now provides reliable day-and-night electricity, significantly reducing reliance on diesel generators and the national grid while lowering the compound’s carbon footprint.

Complemented by energy-efficiency upgrades, optimized backup generators, and smart HVAC and water-heating solutions, the project enhances operational resilience and reduces energy costs and emissions. This milestone reflects SEDCO’s strong commitment to Sustainability leadership and responsible property management through practical, sustainable energy solutions.
