H.E. Eng. Ahmed Dirdiri Ghandour, Sudan’s Minister of Digital Transformation and Communications, received a delegation from Sudatel Group at the Telecommunications Tower in Khartoum, headed by the Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Magdi Taha.

The delegation included several senior executives from the company, including Eng. Gafar Salih, Senior Chief Technology Officer, Eng. Mohamed Alrayah, Senior Chief Operations Officer, and Eng. Ahmed Abbas, Chief Network Officer at Sudani.

The meeting focused on the key challenges facing Sudan’s telecommunications sector, with the Minister emphasizing the importance of strengthening cooperation with Sudatel to ensure service continuity and expand network coverage across the country.

The Minister also reviewed the company’s plans for digital transformation and infrastructure development, praising Sudatel’s role in supporting the digital economy, advancing financial technology innovation, and contributing to community development initiatives.

For his part, Eng. Magdi Taha reaffirmed Sudatel’s commitment to enhancing its services and expanding its network infrastructure in alignment with national priorities. He also highlighted the importance of continued coordination with the Ministry during the coming phase to address sector challenges and achieve shared strategic objectives.
